Joseph asks…The Lap band surgery for teenagers?im doing research for my cousin who is completely beautiful but she has the worst self esteem in the world. She is obese and has been looking in to this surgery for a while. the factor is she cant neccessary afford the surgery because her insurance doesn't cover it until she is 18, she is 16 now and cant stand her life as it is. In her family she has history of diabetes and heart disease and she is becoming extremely depressed due to her weight.
