Ruth asks…Beginner swimmer: How many meters a day should I start swimming?I'm normally a runner but I just joined a gym that has a small lap pool and I want to incorporate that into my routine (plus I have knee problems, so this can help me stay in shape when they are acting up).

How many meters should I start swimming and how fast do I increase?
